APPOINTMENT OF DIRECTOR (FEMALE)

Diamer Basha Development Company (Pvt) Ltd. (DBDC) is incorporate with SECP. The Company’s main objective is the development of Diamer Basha Dam for generation and sale of hydel electricity with a capacity of 4500 MW.
DBDC intends to appointment an Independent Director (Female) on its Board of Directors as required by the Public Sector Companies (Corporate Governance) Rules 2017.

Eligibility Criteria

Applications along with CVs are invited from female experts/professionals in the following categories for consideration of Board of Directors of DBDC, clearly expressing intent for the directorship of the company.

i. Professional/Experts/Consultants with proven track record of serving at senior positions preferably more than 25year experience in mega construction projects of public/private sector.
ii. Professional Accountants/Financial Consultants with proven record and
experience in large public/private sector entities.
iii. Corporate Lawyers having work experience with Construction Projects.

iv. Successful Entrepreneurs who have set up/run private sector corporate business in Pakistan.
v. Individuals having experience in construction/engineering/procurement regulatory bodies. The intereste female candidates must have got their names registere with the Databank of Pakistan Institute of Corporate Governance (PICG) (ww.picg.org.pk) as per (Section 166) of the Companies Act 2017.

The candidates are require to comply with the fit and proper criteria of the Public Sector Companies (Corporate Governance) Rules, 2017.
